Could colour

help you read?

How easy do you find it to read?  If you experience any of these symptoms then you may be suffering from Visual Stress that could be relieved by coloured filters.

  • Moving or blurred print
  • Letters changing size or shape
  • Patterns in blocks of print (worms or rivers)
  • Haloes of colour around letters or words
  • Headaches or visual discomfort
  • Sore or watery eyes.

If you have experienced any of these problems then using a coloured overlay or precision tinted lenses could give great relief.

First we will carry out a full eye examination to rule out any other cause of the symptoms such as long/short sight or weakness of the eye muscles.  If the symptoms continue then an assessment for coloured overlays will reveal if using a coloured filter is likely to be successful.

If the coloured overlays prove to be successful then Colorimetry can be used to provide precision tinted lenses.

If you are interested in finding out more then read the PDF brochure on Visual Stress below and bring a completed Visual Stress questionnaire to your eye examination.

Who can benefit?

  • Children with reading difficulties or Dyslexia.
  • Those with photosensitive migraine.
  • Those with MS, ME or Parkinsons.
