The optomap retinal examination is unique in that it allows the optometrist to view a much larger area of the retina than conventional retinal examinations.

Using low powered red and green lasers the optomap can capture an image of virtually the entire retina as a permanent digital image.  The images can be compared at each visit and allow for accurate assessment of any changes

The image is captured in less than a second and is available to view immediately.
