Visual fields

A visual fields test is an assessment of the function of your peripheral vision.  A visual field test can detect defects caused by glaucoma, diabetes or strokes.

The DVLA require a special field test to be undertaken by all drivers who suffer from glaucoma on a routine basis and when re-applying for a license.  It may also be required when applying for a vocational license.

These tests are paid for by the DVLA and we are registered to carry them out on their behalf.
