The Right Appointment for you
"Eyes are the windows to the soul." Anon
At Melina Joy Opticians, we might not be able to see you into your soul but we can do something much more useful which is to check your eye health and help you see as well as is possible.
So as well as testing for eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration, our Optometrists are able to check for evidence of problems such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
We will ask why you have made the appointment so that we can best tailor our service to, for example, helping you cope with eye strain caused by VDUs. In fact, we are members of national eyecare schemes such as ASE Eyecare Plan and Accor vouchers and accept these as payment for the basic eye examinations.

We recommend that everyone has their eyes examined every two years, especially if you are a driver. Children are often seen more frequently depending on their needs. So stop in to see us at our practice – you’ll find us at 59 High Street, Heathfield, East Sussex or call 01435 868181. We look forward to seeing you.
